You think you're so profound

DSCN1823e01
Monday: Wolfmother... piss me off.

Tuesday: What's the point of my story? I don't think there is one!

Wednesday/Thursday: Table tennis tournament.

Friday: Showcase bong.

Saturday: Mounties: use the free voucher.

Sunday: Hungry Jacks' chips are so good.

So what are your plans for the following week?

Hello, from the Brother Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. I'll be in room 421 for the next three days, if you want to contact me...

In case I didn't tell you, I'm not in Sydney until the seventh day of next year.

Don't expect a travel journal... I couldn't even be bothered making a new post for this message. And I hope you people regularly check and read the comments!

Last night, I went swimming in the pool at this sort of mountain resort we were staying in. Might I say that it was freezing, it being the northern hemisphere and all [you know, seasons...], and the time of day that I went into the water [night time].

We had Peking Duck for lunch today. I lost my clutch pencil, again [if you don't know the story of me losing my clutch pencil in Parc Guell...]. I'm currently shopping for a coat for the Shanghai weather -- apparently, it's cold there.

I'm looking forward to summer in Sydney.

Hey Marta,

I took this photo a few weeks ago and only just had it processed. When I saw the photo, it reminded me of one of your photos.

Remember the pictures of the Red Centre for that photography class? The one picture that Paul Hogben really liked, and wanted a copy of -- the columns in the foyer in sunlight.

I wonder if you see the similarity.

[I hope you don't mind me using your name. Uh, if you do, I'll fix it.]

Sincerely,
Martin

Love the pic btw. It's a bit frustrating though...I just wanna bash through it to see what's behind...
Again, maybe this should be in email...But just wondering...if u, or anyone else reading this message, would know about digital SLR's?
To-be belated birthday/x-mas/new year present from my parents. After researching, I'm thinkin Nikon D70s. I need some support before committing...

Look at me, I'm at work!

Don't worry, I post my emails on this site, anyway.

Speak to Roger about the camera - I've given him an earful on the topic, and he's followed through with my advice. [The camera you mentioned was my suggestion, by the way.]

Girl, I love you, but get a life

I'm listening to Mia Dyson singing about how she doesn't want anybody but herself to be with her guy, in spite of a not-so-perfect relationship, and I'm thinking about New Years in Boston, and about Gladys Knight saying how she'd rather live in his world with him, than live in her own world alone.

Looking at a bunch of strangers, looking at them looking at me looking at them.

All aboard.

Midnight Train to Georgia reminds me of the intersection between Liverpool/College/Oxford/Wentworth, waiting at the lights on Liverpool, heading towards Paddington.

The song on the radio in a taxi, on a Saturday night.

I might have made up this connection.

Midnight Train reminds me of the a car radio, in someone else's car.

Midnight Train reminds me of a midnight train to Georgia.
